New to parkrun? Curious to find out what it's all about? Come and join us at Rutland Water parkrun on 14th January 2023 at our First Timers' event!

What is parkrun?

parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. You can walk, jog or run - you're welcome to come along and join in whatever your pace!

When and where it is?

Rutland Water parkrun is held at Normanton Church and starts at 9.00am. We suggest you arrive at 8.30 where we will meet and greet you at the Waterside Café then walk with you to the start in time for a briefing at 8.50am where we'll put you at ease and tell you all the information you need to know.

After the event, we'd love you to stay and join us for a coffee in the café.

Will I be last?

Totally impossible! We have a tail walker who is last and we regularly have walkers, including our volunteer parkwalkers who support anyone wishing to walk the course.

How much does it cost?

parkrun is completely free, and you'll also be given a token for a discounted parking price of £1.

This event will be taking place on Saturday 14 January 2023 from 8:30am.
