Shopmobility Melton

We are a charity based in Melton that hire out wheelchairs and mobility scooters for a day/weekend or longer. We have foldable scooters ideal for a holiday by coach/ship/aeroplane, bootable scooters that can be easily disassembled into 5 pieces to aid storage in the car and larger scooters where greater comfort or support is required.

Hiring a wheelchair can cost from just £3 for a day hire, and a mobility scooter from as little as £4 a day. A deposit is required for weekend or longer, hires.

Hirers must join us as members (for insurance purposes), a month's membership is £4 and ideal for those that may be recovering from an accident or hospitalisation whilst annual membership is just £10 and comes with one free day hire.

We are open 9.30 to 12.30 on Saturdays and 9.30 to 2.30 on Tuesdays (Melton market day) and you can find us in the St Mary's Way Car Park - that's the one behind the Bell Centre and Porke Pie Shop.
