- Deliver engaging, hands-on Science lessons that spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning.
- Adapt teaching to meet the individual needs of autistic pupils and those with additional learning needs, enabling every learner to thrive.
- Monitor and assess progress, using feedback and assessment to maximise pupil achievement.
- Help shape an innovative Science curriculum that prepares pupils for future success.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists and families to provide a consistent, pupil-centred approach.
- Create a safe, structured and nurturing classroom where pupils feel confident to explore, experiment and succeed.
- Promote independence, resilience, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and help deliver outstanding outcomes for every pupil.
- Holds a Degree and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Passionate about bringing Science to life and inspiring young people to achieve their potential.
- Experienced in, or enthusiastic about, working with autistic pupils and those with SEND or complex needs.
- Creative, adaptable and able to tailor learning to meet individual needs.
- An excellent communicator who builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
- Calm, resilient and solution-focused, with a positive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Committed to safeguarding, inclusion and delivering exceptional outcomes for every learner.
- Eager to continue developing professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking school.
