19th Aug 2021 | Local News

The second Rutland Jigsaw Festival, sponsored by Gibson Games, will take place on August 28-30 in the Ballroom of the Victoria Hall, Oakham, in aid of Oakham In Bloom.

After being obliged to cancel twice due to the Pandemic, we are delighted to now be able to go ahead and hope it will be third time lucky.

A team of volunteers have been busy producing well over 300 assembled Jigsaws, which will be on show and for sale.

There will also be some brand new, unopened puzzles for sale at knockdown prices and many others pre-loved but boxed, so this could the time to buy some Christmas presents.

Admission is free. Doors will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, entrance via Church Street. Directional signs will be in place. A lift is available for those who cannot manage the stairs.

It is hoped that proceeds will be used for a major redesign of planting in the library gardens.
