  1. Funhouse Comedy Club

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday October 28th for another great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is UK-based, French comedian and raconteur Marcel Lucont. Having toured the world with his dry wit, bawdy chansons and exquisite poetry he has the audience laughing from start to finish. His deadpan delivery and surreal musings are both inspirational and fascinating.

Jo Caulfield will also be performing at the Grainstore's returning event. Nominated as "funniest woman" at the LAFTA awards, and "best female stand-up" at the Chortle Awards, she is one not to miss!

Also performing will be Rob Mulholland, and the show will be compered by Howard Read.

The Grainstore opens its doors at 6:15pm, last orders for food are at 7:15pm, and the show starts at 8pm.

Tickets are £10 and can be purchased at: https://funhousecomedy.co.uk/venues/oakham-comedy-club/

  1. Halloween Food, Drink and Craft Fest

On Sunday the 31st of October, a Halloween Food, Drink and Craft Fest will take place at Oakham Castle and market place. It will run from 11am until 3pm and is offering a variety of events and attractions for the whole community, young and old.

There will be stalls selling Halloween goodies and more and there are trick or treat bags available, which you can pre order for only £6.

Fancy dress is optional, but it would be great to see some freaky families, ghastly grandparents, and terrifying townsfolk dressed in their finery!

Contact Carolyn at [email protected] for more information. To view the event in full or to purchase trick or treat bags, click here.
