This October half term, the James Richards Circus will be returning to Rutland Showground from Wednesday the 27th until Sunday the 31st of October.

The James Richards Circus is a family orientated, all human circus that has been running for 4 years. The family has roots in showbusiness dating back as far as the 1800's, so they certainly have showbiz in the blood! The JRC team bring their circus to life at over 30 venues a year and the whole family work hard to make the show a spectacle: "As a small circus family each member of the team has several important jobs from selling tickets to making candyfloss or publicising our next venue to making costumes.

"The five minutes of sequins and sparkles is only a fraction of the day, however we hope these five minutes of performance from each artist will leave many happy memories of a fantastic interactive family experience."

This year's show includes trampoline stars, foot juggling, aerial perch pole, unicycle skills, comedy, quick change shows, and clowns, all led by ringmaster, Adam Washington.

The shows are scheduled as follows:

Wednesday 6pm

Thursday and Friday 3pm and 6pm

Saturday 2pm and 5pm

Sunday 2pm

The ticket office opens at 12pm on Wednesday the 27th of October and the Wednesday showing is offering all seats for only £7. Other shows are £10 per adult, and £8 for children. On top of offering an evening of entertainment, spectators can buy drinks, candyfloss ETC and the big top is heated, for added comfort.

The James Richards team have said: "Reviews describe this year's show as our best yet with more new acts welcomed under the JRC big top. Don't miss our hilarious new clown Mr N, all the way from Mexico together with a host of international artists in this brand new production. We advise booking in advance online as the big top is still not operating at full capacity and demand was so high in 2020 we had to announce extra performances.
