A Rutland haulage business has won a second award in as many weeks.

Palletline PLC, a company which offers pallet-based distribution services, has awarded their member depot, C S Ellis Group, with a 'Double Top Liner' award.

This performance award has been achieved by meeting the stringent requirements of the network in association with necessary high standard KPI's required.

As reported earlier this month by Nub News, this latest award comes just weeks after they were initially chosen for another award from Palletline.

The C S Ellis Group is a 4th generation family run business now in its 87th year. It's head office is at Wireless Hill, South Luffenham.

Over the past few months, C S Ellis Group has been announcing new developments in driver training, apprenticeship schemes, recruitment, new technology and equipment which aims to improve their service to their customers.

This success is being achieved by the team's located within both the Leicestershire and Rutland counties, whose diverse platform offers Pallet Network, Haz-Chem, General and European transport along with dedicated high-bay warehousing and fulfilment services.

Troy Bailey of C S Ellis said:"We recognise that our employees are critical to the success of our organisation; in fact, they have been for over the companies entire 87-year history."

Troy continued: "The challenges today faced by the industry can be frustrating, yet the determination, innovation and rewards our team bring are tantamount to the success of our business which has provided a positive and significant impact on our customer base."
