Oakham Nub News has teamed up with a reader to share a regular 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.

Reader and cocktail connoisseur, Josh, has cooked up another great cocktail this week: the Rise and Shine - although we wouldn't recommend it for breakfast!

Read on to find out how to make this unusual tipple.

Ingredients:

  • 25ml coffee
  • 25ml coffee liqueur
  • 25ml passoa
  • 25ml orange juice
  • splash of sugar syrup or half tsp of sugar if you like it sweeter

Method:

  1. add all of your ingredients to a shaker and 'dry' shake to create a foam
  2. add ice and shake again until chilled
  3. pour into a coupe glass and enjoy!

Check out our other Cocktail of the Week features by heading to the search bar at the top of the page and typing in 'Cocktail', allowing you to view the whole gallery of our popular weekly creations.

Did you know, you can share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page? Don't be shy, get in touch!
