Cocktail of the Week: Rum-ba
Oakham Nub News has teamed up with a reader to share a regular 'Cocktail of the Week' feature, including classics, reinventions of familiar favourites and some crazy concoctions unique to Nub News.
Josh is bringing you another new cocktail feature this week, inspired by summer vibes and the urge to dance! Originally, "rumba" was used as a synonym for "party" in northern Cuba, so hopefully this mix will get the party started for you this weekend!
Ingredients:
- 25ml dark rum
- 25ml spiced rum
- 20ml lime juice
- 50ml orange juice
- splash of bitters
- lemonade
Method:
- add you rums, orange juice and lime juice to a shaker with ice
- shake until chilled
- strain into a tumbler over ice
- splash over your bitters
- top up with lemonade
Check out our other Cocktail of the Week features by heading to the search bar at the top of the page and typing in 'Cocktail', allowing you to view the whole gallery of our popular weekly creations.
