Rutland-based entrepreneur Anna Morrish has been named a finalist in the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, recognising the journey behind Quibble, the digital marketing agency she built to make expert marketing accessible to growing businesses.

When Anna founded Quibble in 2016, the goal wasn't to become an award-winning agency. It was to prove that SMEs deserved the same strategic marketing support as larger organisations, without the expensive retainers and agency jargon.

Ten years later, that philosophy has helped shape one of the region's most recognised digital marketing agencies.

Anna has now been shortlisted for Services Entrepreneur of the Year at the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, which celebrate the founders behind some of Britain's most successful and resilient businesses.

Over the last decade, Quibble has evolved alongside one of the fastest-changing industries in business. From helping clients adapt to Google's ever-changing algorithms to guiding businesses through the rise of AI and changing search behaviour, the agency has focused on staying ahead of digital trends while making complex marketing understandable for clients.

Today, Quibble supports organisations worldwide with SEO, PPC, content marketing and AI-led digital strategies, combining data-driven performance with a personal, collaborative approach that has become a hallmark of the business.

The entrepreneur award comes during a milestone year for the agency. Quibble recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and has already collected two Silver awards at the SME Leicestershire & Rutland Business Awards, recognising both the business itself and Anna's leadership.

Anna Mason said: 'I've never measured success by awards. For me, it's seeing our clients grow, watching our team develop and knowing we've built a business that genuinely makes a difference to the companies we work with.

'Reaching ten years in business already feels like a huge achievement, so to now be recognised in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards is incredibly special. It gives us confidence that the way we've chosen to grow the business, by staying curious, investing in our people and putting clients first, is the right approach.'

Known as the "Grammys of Entrepreneurship", the Great British Entrepreneur Awards received more than 5,000 applications this year, with just 740 businesses reaching the finalist stage.

Frankie James, Founder of the Great British Entrepreneur Awards, said: 'When we launched the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2012, we set out to back the businesses that get on and build, the ones that don't always get the recognition they deserve. More than a decade on, over 5,000 applications tell me we were onto something.'

The winners will be announced later this year.
