From Friday 24 May - Monday 27 May, the Sausage and Cider Festival is back in Rutland for the 12th iteration of the popular event.

The Grainstore hosts the event every year during the late May bank holiday, bringing a huge range of ciders from across the country as well as local sausages and Rutland-based musicians to the lively brewery and tap.

Residents can enjoy 40 real ciders straight from the barrel and locally crafted sausages including the team's own pork and ale variety.

Live music will also take place throughout the weekend, from chilled afternoon sets to lively late night party bands preforming covers and a few originals to keep revellers entertained.

The team said: "Married with a great barbecue and live music, atmosphere at the Cider and Sausage festival changes depending upon the time of day, from relaxed and chilled during the day to vibrant and fun each evening as the party goers join in. There is always something for everyone."

Entry is free and opening times are as follows:

Thursday – 5pm to 11pm

Friday – Midday to 1.30am

Saturday and Sunday – 9am to 1.30am

Monday – 9am to 11pm
