All the planned road closures taking place in Oakham and Rutland to be aware of this January

Rutland County Council has announced several road closures and road works that will be carried out across the county in January.  

  • 6th January to 17th January – Burley Road, Oakham – multi-way traffic lights may cause possible delays 
  • 6th January to 10th January – Barrowden Road, Ketton – road works for gas works 
  • 7th January to 9th January – Top Lane, Bisbrooke – sewage works by Andy Nourish Groundworks Ltd 
  • 9th January to 11th January – Main Street, Teigh – road closed from 8am to 5pm daily for works by Severn Trent Water for a new clean water connection 
  • 9th January to 14th January – Brooke Road, Oakham – two-way traffic lights for works on the National Grid 
  • 13th January – 16th January – Main Street, Bisbrooke – closed for kerbing and resurfacing 
  • 13th January to 25th January - Catmos Street, Oakham – multi-way traffic lights for gas works to be carried out, causing possible delays 
  • 13th January to 14th February - Stamford Road, Oakham – multi-way traffic lights that are likely to cause delays from gas works being carried out 
  • 20th January to 22nd January – Pasture Lane, Barleythorpe – road closure for pipe instillation by Severn Trent Water 
  • 25th January to 27th January – Station Road, Ketton – road closed from 9pm on 25th January to 9am on 26th and 9pm on 26th to 6am on 27th January 
  • 27th January to 30th January – Melton Road, Oakham – road closure for a pipe installation by Severn Trent Water
