The annual RAF Associations charity cycle will return to Rutland this June 2024.

RAFA Rides is the RAF Associations annual cycling event that brings together thousands of riders across the world in support of the RAF community.

This year, the event will take place in and around the grounds of Kendrew Barracks, as well as the option for people to take part virtually from wherever they are in the world.

There are 25, 50, 75 and 100 mile routes to choose from.

The £44.50 entry includes:

  • Route options of 25, 50, 75 and 100 miles
  • Cycling jersey
  • Multiple feed stations
  • Electronic timing and results
  • Beer and burger at the finish
  • RAFA Rides event village

New for 2024 is the RAFA Rides global Zwift event and will be featured as a live feed during the RAFA Rides event at Kendrew Barracks.

A spokesperson for the group added: "We are also continuing with our RAFA Rides Your Way which allows people to be part of the event no matter where they are in the world or when they can take part. It also offers participants the most flexibility, allowing them to choose their own start time, location and distance."

Through RAFA Rides, the RAF Association has created a strong global community of cyclists. Over 3,000 people have taken part since the first event, raising over £430,000 for those in need.

The money raised through RAFA Rides is used to fund the RAF Association's vital work providing much needed help and support to thousands in the RAF community.
