Annual Rutland Food and Drink Festival celebrates the best of local food, drink and produce

The highly anticipated return of the annual Rutland Food and Drink Festival will tale place between 20 and 28 September with a week-long festival celebrating the county's vibrant food and drink scene.
Rutland, know as the 'county of good taste' has a reputation for culinary excellence, which will be showcased through a selection of activities, tastings and special events.

Visitors can expect a lively and varied food festival that will highlight the finest locally sourced ingredients, fresh produce, delicious baked goods, artisan cheese, craft beer and locally grown and bottled wine.
Some of the highlights of the Rutland Food and Drink Festival will include: food and drink tastings with exclusive menus and tasting experiences from local restaurants, cafes and food stalls, and tasting experiences from local restaurants, cafes and food stalls; special offers from local restaurants, vineyards or a special afternoon tea on the Nene Valley Railway; a Farmers' Market and Artisan Stalls with the region's top farmers' markets with local growers showcasing seasonal produce and homemade treats.

Discover Rutland have organised this event, accompanied by Rutland Food and Drink Festival from local events organiser Carolyn Acton Events. This will take place on Sunday 21 September between 11am and 4pm at Oakham Castle, Market Place and Victoria Hall.
