A section of Ashwell Road will be closed for 2 days, starting today for roadworks.

Roadworks are taking place on Ashwell Road between Queen's Road and Springfield Way today and tomorrow, 23 - 24 February 2023.

Potholes are being repaired and speed bumps replaced along the 0.4 mile stretch of road.

Last week, road markings along this stretch of road were repainted. Some of the fresh markings are being dug up in these repairs, meaning that they must be done once again after the works have been completed.

One resident of Springfield Way called the roadworks 'manic', with the road shut completely at Springfield Way, but half open for access to Barmstedt Drive at the Queen's Road end.
