Rutland County Council is advising motorists that a number of spaces at Burley Road Car Park will be unavailable while grounds maintenance is carried out on Monday (3 Feb).

The work is being undertaken along the Oakham Castle embankment to maintain and remove undergrown from the grass bank along the car park's western edge.

A council spokesman said: "A number of spaces in Burley Road Car Park will be out of use while this work is carried out.

"Drivers are advised that they may need to make use of other public car parks in Oakham if they can not find a space.

"The works will be completed as quickly as possible and a council parking officer will be on hand throughout to provide assistance."
