The windy weather is affecting routes in Rutland with reports of a felled tree and a large branch blocking roads.

A report of a large branch in Oakham Road, Exton, appears to be passable with caution.

However, a tree is blocking the road to Barnsdale Gardens.

Rutland County Council highways teams will be attending both incidents to remove the blockages.

Earlier this morning (Sat) a lorry shed its cargo on the A606 in Oakham, near Ashwell Roadabout.

A report at 11.30am advised the road is now clear.
