A tree blocking the road to Barnsdale Gardens has now been removed and the route is now clear.

Thank you to one of our readers for the update.

There's still a report of a large branch partially blocking Oakham Road, in Exton, but it is passable with caution.

Rutland County Council highways team has been alerted and will remove the branch shortly.

Earlier this morning (Sat) a lorry shed its cargo on the A606 in Oakham, near Ashwell Roadabout.

A report at 11.30am advised the road is now clear.
