A local pub is bringing back Bingo Night.

After cancelling Wednesday Bingo night just before Christmas, The Plough in Greetham is bringing their social weekly Bingo back following demand from patrons and villagers.

The Plough, a pet and family-friendly pub in the heart of Greetham, is a lively community hub, and hosts a weekly quiz, meal deals and much more.

Following staff illness, Landlord Peter made the tough call to close the pub on Wednesday evenings, meaning that Bingo was off the menu over Christmas.

However, it will be back with a bang on Tuesday nights, beginning 23 January 2024.

Set to take place every Tuesday going forward, attendees can be in with the chance of winning cash prizes, a butchers round and much more.

Peter said: "Revised to a Tuesday evening, Bingo is back at The Plough every week, with eyes down at 8.30pm.

"Plough Bingo is back and even better! Not only do we have the cash prizes and flyer that everyone loved, we have now introduced a butchers round. The final full house on the main game will see the winner take away butchers box to the value of £45.00, and all of the meat, pies and more in the box is, of course, supplied by our trusted and award winning butcher Owen Taylor & Son."

The also team get the meat served at the pub from Owen Taylor & Son, so if you fancy a taste before the main event, you can book a table and enjoy a hearty dinner from their main menu.

Bingo not your thing? How about the weekly quiz on a Thursday?

Peter added: "Quiz night remains on a Thursday evening, but after requests from some of our customers, from next week it will start from an earlier time of 8pm. Also back is the light supper during the interval - something we had to stop when the dreaded covid struck, all this and its still only £1 per person to enter!"
