Blooming brilliant: Rutland’s first Flower Show massive success

The inaugural Rutland Flower Show took place at Rutland County Showground on 15th to 17th August, proving to be an absolute success for flower fanatics, budding gardeners and horticultural enthusiasts that attended.

From live tutorials and workshops to plant shopping and delicious food, there truly was someone for everyone at the Show.

There was also a flypast to make the 80th anniversary of VJ Day with a flypast from a low-flying spitfire.

Crowds flocked to Rutland County Showground for this brand-new event, with an incredible turn out despite sweltering hot weather on Saturday.
