Bluebird Care Stamford & Rutland is supporting Good Care Month this January.

The campaign aims to increase the awareness of the social and home care sector, challenge the stigma surrounding care work and celebrate the hard work and dedication that social home care workers embrace daily.

Tim Carey, Director of Bluebird Care Stamford & Rutland, commented: "Our dedicated care assistants work tirelessly to make a difference to our customer's lives. Without them, we wouldn't be who we are today!"

Bluebird Care, the UK's largest home care provider with over 200 franchises, has won many prestigious awards over the past few years, and is internationally recognised for the bespoke person-centred services it provides.

Good Care Month also encourages people to choose a career in home care. Tim added: "In the current times there is an increased need for more care assistants due to an aging and vulnerable population, plus the number of vacancies in the industry.

"A career with Bluebird Care has many benefits and career progression. We hope that this campaign will help raise awareness in our community of the demand for care assistants."

Bluebird Care is a leading, award-winning provider of home and live in care, specialising in working with customers who live with dementia, physical disabilities and many other acute and chronic conditions.

Bluebird Care work alongside their customers' families, social services and the NHS to ensure each person receives the care they need. The team offer a unique service of tailored care visits which range from anything from 30 minutes to full live-in support.

As well as personal care, they also help with meal preparation, welfare checks, shopping, social trips, visits to the hospital and provide extra support for post-discharge customers.
