The grand opening of Oakham's B&M is fast approaching, and Oakham Nub News is here to bring you all you need to know about the new store.

Wilko officially closed in Oakham in late September 2023, and while many of the chains were purchased by The Range, B&M secured over 50 stores across the UK.

B&M was founded in 1978 by Malcolm Billington as Billington & Mayman. The chain, which has a massive presence in the north, sells well-known brands like Kellogg's, Coca-Cola and Heinz at a discount. It also sells a wide range of budget home and garden products.

One of the UK's fastest-growing variety retailers, with over three million shoppers per week, B&M "believes in selling Big Brands at sensational prices."

And Oakham shoppers will be able to make use of this when the store opens on Saturday 22 June 2024.

Opening times have been announced and will be:

Monday - Saturday, 8am - 7pm

Sunday, 10am - 4pm
