BMW stolen from Seaton after keys taken in Uppingham burglary

A convertible sports car was stolen from Seaton...after the vehicle's keys were taken in a burglary at the owner's home seven miles away in Uppingham.

A Leicestershire Police spokesman told Oakham Nub News: "On Thursday, 12 December, police received a report of burglary at an address in The Quadrant, Uppingham.

"It is believed to have happened shortly after 3am and was reported that a set of car keys had been taken from the property, but no vehicle was removed.

"On Friday, 13 December, a report was received stating a vehicle was stolen from an address in Station Road, Seaton.

"It was reported the keys stolen on 12 December belonged to the vehicle which was taken - a blue BMW carrying the registration RO14 FHH."

Three men in a red Audi were reported acting suspiciously at the Uppingham address.

Anyone with information, or who knows of the car's whereabouts, should call 101, quoting crime reference number 19*665583.
