In partnership with Rutland County Council and Stamford College, Rutland Adult Learning & Skills Service are offering a range of qualifications to eligible Rutland residents.

You can gain an accredited English qualification in just 17 weeks with their Functional Skills course, or commit to more long term study, beginning an apprenticeship or getting to grips with Basic Maths and English.

Hear from the team:

Working in partnership with Stamford College, we offer a range of learning opportunities aiming to upskill and boost productivity, pay, jobs and living standards, delivered through our well-equipped building on the outskirts of Oakham.

You can study English and Maths from Basic Skills to GCSE, along with a range of online qualifications. We also offer qualifications in Accounting and Bookkeeping, and host Stamford College's local apprenticeship provision.

As part of our wellbeing offer, to encourage a sense of community, local pride and belonging, you can join courses in Pottery, Drawing, Fused Glass, Watercolour, Digital Photography, Languages and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). We can also help with creating or updating your CV or job search skills for free.

We offer concessions to those able to claim benefits or on low household income, and many of our qualifications are free to those who are eligible.

Find out about these qualifications and enrol here.
