Break-in at Cottesmore heritage railway museum

Burglars have targeted a volunteer-run heritage railway museum in Cottesmore.

Thieves struck at Rocks by Rail: The Living Ironstone Museum - formerly Rutland Railway Museum - in Ashwell Road, sometime between midday on 21 December and 10.10am the following day (22 Dec).

A Leicestershire Police spokesman told Oakham Nub News: "A number of containers at the location were broken into.

"We are still liaising with the victim around what property was stolen from the containers."
