Brooke Hill pupil designs new flag flying in Cutts Close

A pupil from Brooke Priory School has designed a new flag that is now flying in Oakham's Cutts Close Park.

Brooke Priory is an Independent Co-Educational school located in Oakham.

They education students aged between 2 and 11 from their location on Station Approach.

This week, the school, alongside Oakham Town Council have welcomed the introduction of a flag designed by one of their pupils in Cutts Close.

The flag reads "Don't be bitter, bin your litter."

Oakham Town Council shared on their social media: "Thank you Millie from Brooke Hill Academy who designed the new flag flying in Cutts close."

The flag will be up this week, but will be replaced by the Union Jack to mark the Coronation of King Charlies III over the weekend,

Once the celebrations are over, Millie's flag will return to Cutts Close to remind locals and visitors to bin their litter.

Cutts Close is where the Party in the Park will take place this Sunday to mark the Coronation.
