Stamford & Rutland Sound have reassured listeners that they are not going anywhere following an alarming alert on Google speakers on Tuesday morning.

Listeners to the local online radio station were alarmed yesterday morning when their Google speakers announced that Rutland & Stamford Sound would be stopping.

The team have since confirmed that they are not going anywhere, and that they are investigating this unexpected announcement.

Listeners on other devices were not affected.
