Just a short drive from Oakham, Burghley Game and Country Fair returns this weekend, Sunday 28 and Monday 29 May.

On the last Bank Holiday weekend of the month, Burghley House will play host to a range of country pursuits, activities, stalls and more as thousands of locals flock to the annual event celebrating the rural area.

Enjoy first class entertainment from some of the countryside's top names and organisations, as well as lots of country sports such as Clayshooting, Airguns, Archery, and Fishing.

On top of this, there will be a large selection of dog events and other popular show features including the Craft Village, Food Show (with chef demonstrations), Falconry, and Vintage Vehicles, not to mention the must-visit Food Courts.

There will also be live entertainment including jazz and folk music, chef demonstrations, 'have a go' interactive opportunities and stalls promoting local sellers, street food and more.

The show promises a fantastic day out for all the family, and costs between £6 and £16.

The event kicks off at 10am and goes on until 6pm both days.
