School children have started returning to school in Rutland.

Catmose College was pleased to welcome in the new Year 7 students last week.

Year 7 students were invited in for an Induction Day on Tuesday ahead of the whole College returning, allowing them the opportunity to navigate the building, meet their tutors and enjoying their first taste of lessons.

The school is looking forward to a busy year and hope our newest students enjoy all the experiences and opportunities available to them during their time at Catmose College.

The school has produced a video of what pupils can expect this term.

Principal Stuart Williams said: "We couldn't be more proud of how the entire College Community have supported a full and safe return. Students have taken the new routines seriously and are very much enjoying being back with their friends and teachers."

Catmose Primary is also delighted to welcome its newest members to its community last week.

They started on Wednesday and guidance was also issued to parents of pupils.

The school told Nub News: "All pupils have settled in extremely well and are enjoying exploring their new classroom and outside play area.
