Catmose College celebrates success on GCSE Results Day

Students at Catmose College are celebrating an impressive set of GCSE results, reflecting their hard work, determination and resilience throughout their studies.

This year's outcomes demonstrate strong attainment across the year, with students securing excellent grades across a broad range of subjects.

Key highlights include:

  • 70% of students achieved Grade 4 or above in both English and Mathematics
  • 50% achieved Grade 5 or above in both English and Mathematics
  • 70% achieved five Grade 4 or above, including English and Mathematics

The College also celebrated many exceptional individual performances, with students securing remarkable collections of top grades across their GCSE subjects.

Sam said 'he was really proud of his results and the effort he had put into his studies'. He was extremely grateful for all of the support from everyone at Catmose'. Sam will go onto Harington to study History, English Literature and Religious Studies.

Eliza commented that her results reflected the work she had put in and she is excited for her next steps of going to Harington School to study English, Geography and History.

Evangeline added that she was so happy, she had felt nervous but everything had gone well and was looking forward to studying psychology, history and English Literature.

Stuart Williams, Principal of Catmose College, said "I am immensely proud of the achievements of our Year 11 students.

"These results are the culmination of years of hard work, commitment and resilience shown by our young people, who have approached their studies with determination and maturity.

"Their success has been made possible through the dedication and expertise of our staff, who work tirelessly to provide a first-class education and support every student to achieve their potential.

"I would also like to thank parents and carers for the encouragement, support and partnership they have provided throughout the students' journey.

"The results we celebrate today are a testament to what can be achieved when students, families and staff work together.

"We look forward to seeing our students continue to flourish as they move on to the next stage of their education and wish them every success for the future."
