On 24th and 25th October, charity comedy show Cheer Upp took to the stage in Uppingham Theatre for two brilliant nights of radio-style performance.

Writer and actor Henry Dawe joined actors Ben Walsh, Cami Carter, Emily Jane Brooks and Sandy Thompson for the two-night delight, all raising money for the Rutland music video project.

Donations from the audience across both evenings raised almost £1,900 towards the production of a music video to highlight Rutland as an area worth visiting for tourists.

Henry Dawe, who wrote the show, said: "We would very much like to thank all the local people who supported the shows and contributed to the fundraising, as well as all the publicists and individuals who helped towards the shows in any way.

"We are delighted by the amount raised. Now the work to produce the music video can be set in motion."
