Coronavirus crisis: Fresh case reported in Rutland

Rutland has seen an increase of one in the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the county.

The running total, according to Public Health England, is now five.

However, like at other locations, this does not include cases not reported to the authorities and confirmed by testing.

Elsewhere, Peterborough reported one extra case yesterday afternoon, giving a total of 37 confirmed cases.

Lincolnshire saw an increase from 133 cases to 152.

Nationally, there are 33,718 reported and confirmed cases, an increase of 4,244 on yesterday.

The number of deaths increased by 569 to 2,921.
