Coronavirus crisis: Oakham firm says virtual cuddles should be on the cards

Oakham-based Nimble Media has launched a competition to shed some light in our dark times.

The #CuddleCards Competition aims to encourage people to send colourful postcards and virtual hugs.

The company's 'Home of the Ridiculously Creative' invites budding artists of all ages to pick up their pens, paints and other arty materials and design an A5 postcard that they would like to send to their parents, grandparents, friends and other family members.

There are have 4 categories:

• Mini Michelangelo's (0 - 4 Years)

• Rising Rembrandt's (5 - 11 Years)

• Daring Dali's (12 - 16 Years)

• Passionate Picassos (17+)

As a bonus, the winner of each category will receive 20 A5 Postcards, professionally printed with their design to send to their loved ones!

The winners will be judged by Nimble Media's Ridiculous Design Team and announced on social media. The company will also be adding entries as they come to their Facebook page.

All they ask is entrants send a photo, scan or PDF of your final designs to [email protected].

Please include the Artist's name, age and contact details so Nimble Media can contact you - or your responsible adults!

Closing date: 15 May 2020

Rules:

No Professional entries (Sorry!)

You can use any medium you like - crayons, paints, felt tip pens - even computer software!

No offensive graphics or wording

Be ridiculously creative!
