6th Apr 2020 | Local News

Oakham Foodbank has benefited from the temporary closure of the town's QD Quality Discounts store.

The branch has suspended operations as part of a nationwide shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Group operations director, Karl Ottolangui, said closing the stores has been heartbreaking for staff who have worked tirelessly to serve their communities.

Staff at each branch had a say where donated items went. which for Oakham was its food bank, with a local nursery receiving the Easter Eggs.

Whilst the stores are closed, the QD Group will continue to offer online sales, with delivery at www.QualityDiscounts.com.
