Coronavirus crisis: Rutland still has six reported cases

Rutland remains at six reported cases of Coronavirus.

In figures released by Public Health England, Greater Lincolnshire also reported no coronavirus deaths in the county's hospitals for the first time in nearly two weeks.

No fatalities have been recorded at either United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust in the latest round of daily updates.

Since March 26, at least one patient who tested positive for Coronavirus has been confirmed each day to have died at one of the county's hospital trusts.

Last Friday saw the highest daily spike as eight people died at hospitals run by ULHT.

So far, a total of 36 people have died in Greater Lincolnshire with 346 cases confirmed across the county.

In Lincolnshire, the youngest person to die from coronavirus was 49, according to local figures.

ULHT reports 24 deaths at its hospitals- Grantham, Boston, Lincoln and Louth- though it won't say where the deaths have occurred.

All patients who have died in the county's hospitals had underlying health conditions.

Peterborough City Hospital, which is run by the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, has experienced four deaths of patients with coronavirus.

Public Heath England reported Lincolnshire had 275 cases, an increase from 252 reported on Sunday.

Leicestershire reported 338 cases, up from 311.

Peterborough had 68 cases, up from 48.

Nationally, Public Health England reported yesterday afternoon the UK had 51,608 coronavirus cases, an increase of 3,802 on yesterday.

The number of deaths increased by 439 to 5,373.

The figures do not include cases treated outside the public healthcare system.
