16th Nov 2020 | Local News

Oakham Police has issued a Covid ticket to a man for breaching Covi-19 social distancing regulations.

In a post on social media this afternoon, Oakham Police said they visited an address "after reports recently highlighting it for Covid related breaches."

The post said three males were found at the address.

It added: "One will be dealt with for cannabis possession. One adult issued with a covid ticket."

The move comes as Lincolnshire Police this afternoon also said it was receiving a large increase in calls from the public telling them of breaches of Covid regulations, as also reported by Nub News.
