Rutland reported just 1 cases of Covid-19 today, fuelling a further decline in its 7-day infection rate.
The county has now gone 19 days without anyone dying within 28 days of a positive test for the virus.
Rutland has now recorded 1638 cases, according to official government figures, which amounts to about one-in-25 of county residents. The England average is for one positive test for about 20 residents.
The case rate has fallen to 35.1 cases per 100,000, based on the 15 cases recorded over the past week. This compares with the England average of 28.1 cases per 100,000.

Meanwhile in Lincolnshire, South Kesteven recorded 11 cases of Covid-19 today, compared with 14 over the weekend.
The numbers further fuels a declines in the 7-day rate, taking the district more in line with national trends.

The steep fall now gives the district a 7-day infection rate of 49.9 per 100,000, which remains well above the England average of 28.1.
While the England average has consistently fallen, South Kesteven has experienced 'spikes' in case numbers.
Now, South Kesteven has a grand total of 7454 cases- about one in 20 for every resident since the start of the pandemic.
