Queues can be expected when the North Luffenham Household Waste and Recycling Centre re-opens this morning.

Rutland County Council has re-issued warnings to the public in recent days, following last Thurday's announcement the tip will re-open at 10am today.

As reported previously, a raft of measures will be imposed to help ensure the safety of staff and the public.

And to keep numbers down, the council is also asking potential users to store their waste at home, if they can.

From today, the council says there will be no access to North Luffenham Household Waste and Recycling Centre from the direction of Morcott.

To help with social distancing, the council is also limiting vehicle access to North Luffenham Household Waste.

It will also have a number of diversions in place around North Luffenham Household Waste and Recycling Centre.

Further details of how things will operate can be found here.
