Rutland and Lincolnshire both passed milestones today as case numbers continued their string rise.

Rutland reported a further nine cases today, putting it on 200 cases since the pandemic started in March.

However, the figures still remain among the best in the country, with case numbers equivalent to 500.9 per 100,000, or about one case in every 200 people.

Greater Lincolnshire passed the 1,100 mark just nine days into October.

NHS figures showed no further deaths in Greater Lincolnshire hospitals today.

However, the government's own death tally, which includes those both in and out of hospitals and those of residents in hospitals outside the county, showed three new deaths in its figures.
