Rutland still has only 13 officially confirmed cases of coronavirus, according to NHS England.

Today's daily tally did not show an increase on the number reported yesterday, despite rises being record elsewhere.

However, as previously reported, the figures concern those who have been treated in hospital and tested positive for the virus.

They do not include those at home or in care homes, where many deaths have also been reported.

Meanwhile, more than 70 fresh cases of coronavirus were reported and confirmed in Lincolnshire today.

The government figure, now stands at 669 in Lincolnshire, an increase of 76 on the 593 recorded yesterday.

Other parts of the region also reported significant increases.

Leicestershire saw its number of confirmed cases increase from 731 to 752.

North East Lincolnshire saw its official numbers rise from 93 to 104.

North Lincolnshire saw an increase from 171 to 218.

Peterborough increased from 147 to 155.

Nationally, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus increased by 4,451 to 133,495.

However, as already mentioned, these official figures from NHS England just include those being treated in hospital.

They do not include those in care homes or people's homes.

The number of deaths nationally increased by 759 to 18,100.

Lincolnshire reported two more deaths, who were both men aged 69 and 84, both having underlying health conditions.

The pair brought the total to have died in hospitals run by the United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust to 85.

The Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundations Trust hospitals reported three deaths today, putting their total at 44.

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospitals at Stamford, Peterborough City and Hinchingbrooke, did not update its numbers today.

But on Monday, it said, the number of deaths at Peterborough City had increased from 26 to 43 compared to a week ago.

The equivalent figures for Hinchingbrooke were 19 rising to 30 over the same period.
