Rutland has once again reported no more confirmed cases of coronavirus.

The official government figure for the county remains at 12, as it has done for several days.

However, as reported by Nub News, several times, they only include cases dealt with at hospitals, and do not include cases at home or in care homes.

Rutland County Council this week, at the behest of Nub News, issued a statement explaining how the figures are calculated , with hospitals recording the residency of the patients as the place where the case came from.

Meanwhile, two more patients in Lincolnshire have died with coronavirus.

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust said they were a 72-year-old man and a 76 year-old woman, who both had underlying conditions.

The deaths bring the total to have died after testing positive with the virus at ULHT hospitals to 72.

The trust runs hospitals at Grantham, Boston, Lincoln and Louth but again it did not say at which hospital the latest victims died.

The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs the hospitals in Stamford, Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke, did not update its figures again today.

To date, Peterborough has reported 26 deaths and Hinchingbrooke 19.

Nationally, the number of deaths reported today were 888, bringing to UK-wide total to 15,464.

However, these figures do not include cases at home or in care homes.

The number of cases having tested positive with the virus was today reported at 114,217, an increase of 5,526 on yesterday.

Across the region, Public Health England reports 635 cases in Leicestershire, up 26 on yesterday.

Lincolnshire reported 28 more cases, at 578, compared with 551 yesterday.

North East Lincolnshire increase 2 from 89 to 91.

North Lincolnshire increased from 154 to 168.

Peterborough increased from 120 to 127.
