Coronavirus crisis: Top Tory in Rutland Conservatives Zoom meeting

By The Editor 29th Jan 2021

Rutland and Melton Conservatives are staging an online Zoom meeting with leading Tory Steve Baker MP.

MP Alicia Kearns said on twitter: "Sign up! I'm pleased to launch a new series of events for Conservatives in Rutland & Melton (and beyond!).

"Spend an evening in discussion with some of my incredible colleagues.

"First up the indefatigable, passionate and always generous @SteveBakerHW "

The Wycombe MP is former chairman of the pro-Brexit European Research Group and now a leading member of the Covid Recovery group and has spoken out against the government's lockdown policies.

A post on the Rutland and Melton Conservatives website said: "Steve will be discussing with us the ERG, Brexit and current Government policies and this will be followed by a question and answer session."

Tickets for the event are £10 per household or £8 per household for Young Conservatives and can be purchased by clicking 'Buy Now' on the association website.

Questions should be sent to [email protected] and the association will try and get through as many of them as possible during the time with Mr Baker.
