Rutland's Severe Weather Emergency Provision (SWEP) will be activated as of tomorrow, the 7th of December 2022, due to the forecast of sub-zero temperatures.

Severe weather conditions such as extreme cold, high wind, heavy rain, snow and heatwaves all increase the risk of harm to people sleeping rough.

As such, Rutland residents have been asked to contact The Bridge East Midlands if they see anyone sleeping rough out of hours. To do so, call 01858 464 499. During office hours, please contact 01572 758157 or email [email protected].
