A "distraught" owner has continued the search for three missing cats in the Oakham area.

Three domestic cats have gone missing from a home on Barleythorpe's Tollesbury Avenue.

The trio of female cats, Groot, Stitch and Buddy, have been missing since February 2023, August 2023 and October 2022 respectively.

Two of the cats, Groot and Buddy, have been spotted in the area, while Stitch has been missing without a sighting since she went missing in August.

A local volunteer with Harvey's Army, a local charity helping to reunite lost pets with their owners, shared a plea on Facebook: "Please help us get these three fur babies back home to their distraught owner.

"Groot and Buddy have had a few sightings close to the area but we still need to find who has been feeding them both so we can safely get them back home and to the vets for a check, and Stitch has not been seen at all which is very concerning!

"Please if you see either message/call the number on the poster or send a private message to myself, Katie Hibbitt, urgently. We are very thankful for all the sightings so far but we need more so we can make sure they are safe before the winter kicks in."

Thank you to Katie Hibbitt and Harvey's Army for the images.
