Could you be a volunteer for the East Midlands Ambulance Service?

The East Midlands Ambulance Service (EMAS) is looking for volunteers to join their team of paid and volunteer staff across Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, and Rutland.

The East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust provides emergency medical services, urgent care and patient transport services for the 4.8 million people within the East Midlands region of the UK.

The team are currently looking for members of the local community to join them in supporting the emergency care team and saving lives.

We're creating a team of volunteers to help support our emergency response colleagues.

While paid roles are available, volunteers are always needed and are an invaluable asset to the team.

Volunteers will be responsible for:

  • Assisting Station Managers by moving emergency vehicles between locations
  • Preparing frontline vehicles
  • Supporting Community First Response schemes
  • Supporting frontline crews at hospital

Specific training will be provided. You must have a Category C1 Provisional Driving Licence, with funding available to turn this into a full Category C1 licence.
