A Rutland-based venue is one of the first to put out a call for stall holders for its December Christmas market.

Welland Vale Garden Centre has put out a call for local sellers, crafters, food and drinks stalls and other independent businesses to book a stall at its Christmas market.

The Uppingham-based garden centre will be holding its annual Christmas market on 3 December.

As well as hosting local, independent businesses, the team will be selling fresh cut Christmas trees and seasonal dishes at their Orchard Cafe to get you in the Christmas spirit.

While it is too early for many to begin thinking about the 'most wonderful time of the year', local businesses are encouraged to get in touch early to reserve a spot at the market.

The team also hope to include local primary schools in a competition and have a visiting community choir singing. More information will follow on their Facebook page.

If you would like to book a stall at the December event, email Louise on [email protected].
