Tonight's (Tues) dramatic hour-long episode of Emmerdale will feature scenes filmed at Rutland Water and Normanton Park Hotel.
The filming took place on 20 September and features three main characters - Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb), Cain Dingle's (Jeff Hordley) and Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).
In tonight's 7pm to 8pm episode of the ITV drama, one of Britain's longest running soaps, viewers will watch tensions build for a massive plot-twist and 'explosive' finale being screened tomorrow night.
Normanton Park Hotel has a starring role as the hotel where Nate and Moira - having a steamy affair - stay the night together before an agricultural show and are caught off-guard by Moira's husband Cain prior to a fishing trip.
Keep your eyes peeled for footage of both the inside and outside of the hotel.
Other scenes were shot on the shores of Rutland Water.
Emma Devereaux who works for Anglian Water as Rutland Water weddings, events and visitor services co-ordinator, told Oakham Nub News: "We'd had the booking for filming in the diary for a number of weeks, but knew we needed to keep the information under wraps!
"Myself and my colleague Jonny were on hand on the day at Normanton to make sure everything ran smoothly.
"In the morning there were a couple of crew members setting up when I arrived and about an hour later it became a hive of activity with the entire crew turning up with vans and the famous Emmerdale Land Rovers.
"We had a brief outline of what they would be filming and it was great to watch as they filmed what seemed like a fairly dramatic couple of scenes.
"There were a few familiar faces in the cast and they were all friendly and willing to stop for a chat and a photo.
"The crew and cast headed off about 1.30pm as they wanted to be out of the way for a wedding we were hosting at the church that day.
"But they couldn't resist an ice cream from Andy Fardell's famous van first!
"It's great to have Emmerdale come and film and so many of the cast and crew said what a beautiful hidden gem Rutland Water was and how stunning they found our fabulous Normanton Church."
The cast and crew kept their feet firmly on dry land, with the boat-based action taking place filmed in Halifax.
An Emmerdale spokesperson told Oakham Nub News: "For this Emmerdale storyline we shot at three locations. The hotel was on Rutland water. The boat trip was filmed just outside Halifax and the underwater scenes were recorded in Essex."
