A landslip near market Harborough has resulted in the diversion of many East Midlands Rail trains through Oakham.

Extra trains and planned diversions are set to take place across the weekend as repair works are undertaken.

This means that the crossings at Oakham, Langham, Ashwell and Whissendine will be busy until Monday.

Saturday and Sunday will be particularly busy for Rutland's road as planned electrical works also take place on the line, meaning that traffic is expected to be heavier than usual around the level crossings.
