Oakham will be hosting its first ever Pride event on the 25th of June 2022, and the list of exciting events taking place on the day is only getting bigger.

Alongside the Pride Bake off, there will be music, stalls, food, drag acts and performances.

The fun is starting early though with the Oakham Pride raffle, which you can enter now.

Oakham Pride have released the Prize list for the Grand Raffle which will be drawn on June 25th at 3pm.

All funds raised will be going towards next years Pride Festival.

Committee member Lucy Slessor said: Local businesses have been amazing with their contributions. The top three prizes are an electric guitar amp and mini leads from Mooonflower Guitars, a £50 menswear voucher from Cromwells, who additionally offer a local safe space in the shop in a quiet area away from the main floor space for anyone in need, and Olivers and Co who have donated a £50 women's wear voucher."

Tickets can be purchased for only £3 a strip. To enter, message the Oakham Pride Facebook page. Alternatively, visit the team outside Tesco on Thursday the 2nd of June where you can buy tickets and find out more about the main event on the 25th of June!

Winners who aren't present on the day of the draw will be contacted by phone to organise collection of their prize.
