Valentine's Love Lounge

Whatever love means to you, Ovation celebrating it this February!

Join the team on 14 February for some great music from Lara Belder and Steve Roy, good food and tasty cocktails from 7pm on 14 February 2024.

Frozen Jr

Spending Valentine's Day with the kids this year? How about a trip to the theatre to enjoy a story of true love - but whose love?!

Frozen Jr is a story of true love and acceptance between sisters, and Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

The production is taking place just a short drive from Oakham at Stamford Corn Exchange from 14 until 18 February.

Valentine's Two to Tapas

Enjoy Valentine's Day at Rutland Garden Village's 'Radish' restaurant on 14 February 2023.

Start with a glass of pink fizz, and enjoy a range of tapas and a luxurious fondue to round off your meal.

The menu is £50 for two people.

Valentine's Day on the Farm

From Monday 12 to 16 and Monday the 19 to 23 February, you can enjoy a selection of home and hand made foods and treats at Rutland Farm Park - and entry to the farm, for only £18.95 per person. 

The team make almost all of their goodies in-store and source ingredients locally, so you can guarantee that you and your lover will enjoy the freshest of cakes, scones, sandwiches and more at the romantic event.

Once you are full of Valentine's tea treats, you can enjoy a stroll around the farm, visiting the goats, ducks, llamas, alpacas, horses, cows and other animals, and take the kids to the play area or to sponsor one of the animals on the farm. Sponsorship is another great way to show family and friends that you care, while giving back to Rutland Farm Park - who have rescued a range of their animals from residents in and around Rutland.

Valentine's at The Fox & Hounds

With Valentine's Day on the horizon, the team at The Fox and Hounds are pulling out all the stops to put on yet another wonderful evening to mark the occasion. 

On the menu, they have meat, veggie and vegan options, as well as some classic desserts, such as Eton mess, brownie, a cheese board and more. 

And this Valentine's Day, you can enjoy a three course meal and glass of fizz for £36.95 per person.

Valentine's Day at The Plough

Valentine's diners at The Plough in Greetham will be treated to a special set menu, glass of fizz and live music from Rutland's own Ruby Dee at the exclusive event. 

Diners will enjoy a choice of duck and orange patê, stuffed mushrooms or prawn marie rose to start, followed up by a main course selection including slow roasted belly pork, cherry confit duck, steak or carrot wellington. 

Round off your meal with one of the pub's popular desserts: chocolate and caramel pyramid, tiramisu or apple strudel. 

Enjoy all of this and entertainment for £29.95 per person.
